In 2001, Marc Jacobs launched his first fragrance for women, followed by its masculine counterpart. The company became renowned for its original scents, Eaux de Cologne that are structured around a single, one-note theme, such as Cotton or Cucumber, available in large bottles. Daisy's success in 2007 carved out a place for Marc Jacobs on the fragrance scene. A number of other successful scents followed suit, including Lola, Dot, Honey, and Bang for men, all resolutely contemporary fragrances enclosed in bottles evocative of true works of art, all expressions of the designer's personal symbols and style.

Thanks to his inimitable talent, Marc Jacobs quickly conquered the world, and as well as heading up his own brand, the young man was appointed Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton.
