Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface. During the first use, let the candle burn for at least 3 to 4 hours until the entire surface of the wax has become liquid. This will prevent the wax from tunneling and forming a well around the wick. Never let the burning wick come into contact with the edge of the candle. Make sure the wick is straight and centered when extinguishing it for even wax consumption during future uses. Never blow out the wick to extinguish the candle: dip the wick into the hot wax using a tool and then straighten it. Before each use, remember to trim the wick to 5mm to promote an optimal burn.
