Legend has it that Roman soldiers came here in person to heal their wounds, in a place that was known as the Fountain of Youth. Army doctor Jos Jullien spent his life searching for the Fountain of Youth's miracle cure, and stumbled upon a unique and extraordinary ingredient: the Plankton of Life. In order to recreate the exact same natural conditions, Jos invented a unique process called Fermogenesis, which also works to improve the results achieved by the Plankton of Life. In 1985, Biotherm launched its first range of products specifically designed for men, a collection that was quickly enhanced by the addition of its iconic Aquasource face moisturizer, which contains the same concentration levels of thermal plankton as 5,000 liters of water from the Fountain of Youth.
